2. What we do not collect

Breach Check Guide is a reading only website. There are no forms, scanners, account sign-ups or newsletter signups on this site. We do not ask for, collect or store your email address, passwords, Social Security number, date of birth, payment details or any other personal information through our pages.

3. What may be collected automatically

  • Hosting logs: Our host, Cloudflare, may automatically process technical data such as IP address, browser type, referring page and timestamps for security, abuse prevention and reliability.
  • Email you send us: If you write to [email protected], we receive whatever you include in that message and use it only to reply.

4. Links to other websites

Our guides link to other websites, such as Have I Been Pwned, Mozilla Monitor, the credit bureaus, the FTC and OmniWatch. When you follow a link, you leave our site and that website's own privacy policy applies. Anything you enter there, including your email address or Social Security number, goes to that website, not to us.

Some links to OmniWatch pass through our own short link (/go/omniwatch) and an affiliate tracking network so the purchase can be attributed to our site. The network and OmniWatch may set cookies to record that you came from our site. We may receive reports of clicks and completed purchases, but not your name, contact details or payment details.

Our pages do not set their own cookies.

We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies on this site. If we add them, for example Google Ads conversion measurement, we will update this policy first.
