1. Agreement
By using Breach Check Guide (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. The Site is operated by Costa Launch LLC ("we," "us").
2. Educational information only
Our guides are general educational information about data breaches, account security and identity protection in the United States. They are not legal, financial or professional security advice. Laws, prices and company policies change, so confirm important details with the organization involved, such as a credit bureau, your bank, the FTC or the provider of a service.
3. We are an independent publisher
Breach Check Guide is not a government agency, a credit bureau, a law firm or an identity protection company. We do not operate OmniWatch, Have I Been Pwned, Mozilla Monitor or any other service we write about. We do not check whether your information was exposed and we do not sell any product directly.
4. Third party websites and services
The Site links to third party websites. Some of those links are affiliate links, as described in the footer of every page. If you buy a product or subscription from a third party, such as OmniWatch, your purchase is with that company, and its terms, pricing, renewal, refund and privacy policies apply. Prices we mention were accurate when checked on the date shown and may change; the price shown at checkout is the one that applies. We are not responsible for third party products, websites or claims.
5. No warranties
The Site and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the content is complete, current or free of errors, or that following it will prevent any breach, fraud or identity theft.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Costa Launch LLC and its members, officers and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Site or of any third party product or service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to USD $50.
7. Intellectual property
Site text, layout and branding are owned by Costa Launch LLC. You may share links to our pages. You may not republish substantial parts of the Site without our written permission. Third party names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify their products.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms.
